  • Okavango International School

    Okavango International School has served the community of Maun for over 18 years. The school opened to offer a faith based education experience for those families living and working in Maun. Okavango International School, in conjunction with Royal Tree Lodge, allows students to be immersed in the rich boidiversity of the Okavango Delta.   • Curriculum

    Serving both primary and secondary students, Okavango International School provides an accelerated level of education over and above what is currently available in this region. The school curriculum prepares students for the University of Cambridge International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) program and allows them to easily transition into higher education institutions around the world.

  • The Mission

    The student is at the heart of everything at Okavango International School. Through the years, hundreds of local, regional, and international children have been challenged through Okavango International School’s fine academic and extracurricular programs. The school strives to develop the students’ full potential - physical, practical, moral, creative, and intellectual - that each individual might graduate a well educated, balanced, compassionate and tolerant member of the world society.

  • Boarding Program

    In 2006, Okavango International School began offering boarding to secondary students. What began as a handful of students seeking housing in order to attend Okavango International School has grown to a program serving over 60 students. Due to the success of the boarding program, Okavango International School serves students from all over the continent of Africa.

  • Informal Education

    Love Botswana Outreach Mission believes in empowering people through education and literacy. Love Botswana partners with the Ministry of Education in Botswana to sponsor informal educational programs that assist youth and adults in preparing for and procuring their primary and secondary education (GE) equivalent. Community residents previously held back due to lack of education are given a second chance.
